Tennis legend Pete Sampras’ Los Angeles home hit the market last night at $8.9 million.
Listing agent Jordan Cohen of RE/MAX Olson and Associates Brokerage confirmed the listing to Mansion Global.
Built in 2009, the house has two
master suites and four additional bedrooms, six full bathrooms and one
half-bathroom, according to the listing.
Sampras, winner of 14 Grand Slam
titles, and his wife, Bridgette Wilson-Sampras, bought the property new
for $5.9 million in 2009, according to a report in the Los Angeles Time.
The home is set behind private gates at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, according to the listing, and was recently expanded.
It includes an open floor with custom two-story beamed ceilings, wood floors and custom picture windows.
The 6,900-square-foot residence also
features an oversized library, which can also be used as a
theater/screening room, a pool and spa, an outdoor kitchen and massive
manicured lawns that add to its forest-like atmosphere, according to the
